If like me you are a fan of PET bottles but you like your home made beer to have a slightly more professional look, then this could be the answer. Crown Cap PET Plastic Bottles are the new ingenious way to keep your home made beer in safer plastic bottles whilst still using crown caps. PET is the plastic used to store most fizzy drinks. It can withstand enormous pressure and is almost unbreakable. Now they have developed a special neck on these new bottles which accepts a crown cap applied with a normal crown capping tool. Now your homebrew beer has all the appeal of a glass bottle but with the safety and convenience of a plastic bottle. You can buy them now at Home Brew Online in either brown or green. At only £7.95 for 20 or £12.95 for 40 they are a great buy. Order your Crown Cap PET Bottles here.

Santa’s Winter Warmer Ale Kit is on offer at Home Brew Online – Only £19.95 (Normal Price £22.95) – Whilst Stocks Last

Put some in your sack now

A Strong, mellow ale balanced with choice aromatic and bittering hops.

Makes 36 Pints ABV 5.7%

Santa’s Winter Warmer will surely bring a warm glow when you drink it. Muntons have used only the very best authentic premium brewing malt and hops, thus providing a pleasing and exceptionally flavoursome strong winter ale.

Muntons begin by selecting and malting only the very best English, 2-row barley. Then, when making the extract, again great care is taken to make sure that all of that excellent malt flavour and character is retained. Then to that extract, a very unique blend of hops is added, which is specially sourced from England’s best renowned hop growers.

To guarantee absolute consistency in brewing, Santa’s Winter Warmer contains Premium Gold Yeast. This is a brewers grade yeast with the best ale making characteristics as well as good “crusting” properties to assist in making your beer absolutely crystal clear.

Just follow the simple step-by-step instructions on the pack, and you will be able to produce a perfectly balanced ale with just the right amount of bitterness, maltiness, and aroma – a beer which will capture that round, mellow flavour of authentic English winter ales. One thing’s for sure, once you have tried Santa’s Winter Warmer, you won’t be able to wait for next year’s stock to arrive. Maybe you’d better order a couple!
